Homemade party favors are great for party guests at any theme party. It is important to ensure, no matter the party favor(s), is that is enough for all party guests. Estimate the number party guests and add make several more incase unexpected party guests attend.

Cookies Those who have some baking abilities may consider baking cookies for the party guests to take home. Make it pretty by making the decorative plastic bags look like a gift. Add a decorative picture or place the plastic bags in homemade felt bags as well. Smaller, more intimate parties allow party hosts to add additional decorative elements to the party favors bags. .

Handmade Jewelry Beaded necklaces, large and small, are great party favors that can be given away to guests as costume jewelry. Attach ribbons to necklaces, use sparkly faux diamonds, seashells, flowers, or even candy necklaces for children to wear and eat.

Photo Party Favors During the course of the party take pictures of the party guests. Printing the photos out make great gifts for the party guests. Place the pictures in small decorative frames as a fun take-home party favor party guests can place on the mantle or selected area.

Candy Buckets Tin buckets are another way of presenting candies and other sweets to party guests. Decorate the outside of the tin buckets with clip art images and a thank you greeting.

Fruit Cups Cut up fruit and place it in the small cups with a fabric lid tied on with a ribbon. Keep the fruit cups refrigerated until the fruit cups are ready to be given out. Cut up a variety of fruit such as bananas, mangos, strawberries, papaya, oranges, apples etc.

Tea Bags Even a brown paper bag can hold gifts of different flavored tea bags for party guests. Add a tea label (using a tea label template) with a ribbon and tape to the paper bag.

Monogram Candy Wrappers Simple to make and great tasting are monogram candy wrappers. Remove the candy wrappers from the chocolate bars and add a printed monogram candy wrapper and tape. Add a thank you greeting and various decorative elements in one or many colors. Add an image of the celebrant as well.

Homemade party favors are simple enough for the young celebrant to participate in making as well. Include him or her in the party planning e.g. party supplies and decorations, and the party will be a great success for all involved.
